Performance

To test the performance of the DiamondMax Plus 60 I used the SiSoft Sandra 2001 software. You can see in the benchmark the difference from the UDMA 66 to the Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 60 … it’s a nice jump compared to the UDMA 33 to UDMA 66.

Its numbers in the benchmark speak for themselves. The Maxtor hits a sweet 20263 in the SiSoft Sandra 2001 benchmark.

Conclusion

The DiamondMax Plus 60 packs great performance, price and quality in one package. Its backed by Maxtor’s No Quibble Service, so if you are in the market for a hard drive or will be in the market for one in the near future I recommend you taking a serious look at the Maxtor DiamondMAX Plus.
