Taisol CGK Cooler with Delta 30 CFM Fan Review

As you can see in the picture this heatsink is big, I had pictures on the Chrome Orb and Taisol CGK Cooler side by side to compare them both but they were misplaced sorry. To give you a idea of the difference you can just refer to the picture above and see how the heatsink looks sitting on an Abit KT7-RAID Motherboard in the AMK-3333 19" case.

The delta fan is a 30 CFM fan. The fan is pretty loud so if you don’t like a little noise coming from your computer you might want to reconsider.

The fan comes blowing air up. I have 2 fans on the side of my case and an exhaust on the top of the case. On the side one fan is sucking air in and the other is blowing air out. I turned the delta fan around on the heatsink so it’s blowing in on my CPU. You can choose whichever way works for you. I found a raise in CPU temp of approx 3C higher with the fan blowing up

Some “words of wisdom” regarding the Delta Fan: Don’t poke your fingers in there once it’s spinning. Take a look at the pictures of the tip of my finger once it met Mr. Delta Fan. I was trying to clean up a few wires in my case when I accidentally slipped my finger in the fan, oouch!!  The fan spins at 6000 RPM and the edges are pretty rough, so needless to say its not meant to be putting your finger(s) into once it’s spinning.
